Introduction:

We are actively seeking an energized and relationship-oriented B2B sales professional to join our growing company to support our business growth objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for prospecting and securing new business accounts across all operating divisions of the company. The professional growth and career advancement opportunities are immense. We offer a generous commission structure, with tiered-escalator, salary, and other performance incentives.

Responsibilities Include:

- Prospecting new B2B client acquisition opportunities
- Researching and reporting activities
- Initiate or coordinate meeting with prospective clients and close new business on behalf of the company, where applicable
- Attending trade shows and other networking events on behalf of the company
- Assisting in other business development activities as directed by management
- Opportunity for a permanent sales and account management position with a structured package will be based on performance

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

- Post-secondary education (partial or completed) from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1-2 years of B2B sales experience
- Resourceful with an ability to efficiently source out prospective clients; an existing network of prospective clients will be considered a strong asset
- Business and relationship savvy
- High level proficiency in the English language (written and verbal); additional language proficiencies, particularly in French, will be considered asset(s)
- Strong computer skills, with at least an intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook); additional proficiencies in other applications that support the incumbent in his/her work duties will be considered an asset
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrated self-starter who is comfortable working in a virtual office environment
- A valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle
